New Ultra hard diamond found in meteorite

Researchers at the Université de Lyon in France, have discovered what appears to be an unexpected new form of ultrahard diamond and a new ultrahard form that was previously predicted, both harder then commonly found diamond. These forms were found in the Havero meteorite, which fell to earth in Finland in 1971. The meteorite was split up and spread around research facilities around the world, with the Université de Lyon conducting research on the 30µm thick, 4mm by 4mm square piece of meteorite they were given.

Response to homeopath's attack on skeptics.

This article, is a response to this article:

http://hpathy.com/homeopathy-papers/africa-the-last-frontier-the-battle-...

I'm also going to try to post this response in their comments, to see what reply I get.

Hey, I've got a great idea to get more homeopathic treatment funded by the WHO, for treatment of AIDS and malaria in Africa.

Prove it works! Do that, and I'm sure you'll get lots of funding.

South Africa has a great reputation with homeopathy does it? If I'm not mistaken, I do believe they have the worst rates of AIDS then any other african nation, even though they are the richest? Directly a result from their AIDS denialist health ministers and head of government? What about Matthias Rath?

Reporting on Ardi

Fifteen years ago in Ethiopia, back in 1994, a new species of extinct ape was discovered. Ardipithecus ramidus, or ‘Ardi’ for short has been the name given to a particular female specimen. You may have heard of this find recently, as the story has been doing the rounds with print press and online media. However, what you might not have heard, thankfully, is the slightly ridiculous coverage of Ardi from some outlets.

The Associated Press (AP) writers are well known for mistakes in public science reporting, and these mistakes are to be expected, even with a big find like Ardi. From Yahoo news though, you get this rather strange quote:
